The AEMPIN was founded in 1990 by Atty. Cici Brown and Dr. Nelson Ilodigwe, in partnership with Texas Southern University, to advance peace and democracy worldwide. A nongovernmental organization, the AEMPIN has helped to improve life for people in more than 27 countries by resolving conflicts, advancing democracy, human rights, and economic opportunity.
