Call for Participation: A Platform for Regulatory Exchange and Institutional Learning

The Americas Empowerment Institute (AEMPIN), in collaboration with Texas Southern University, is honored to welcome select staff members from the National Communications Authority (NCA), Ghana, to its headquarters in Houston, Texas, USA, as part of a strategic site visit and regulatory development program.

This high-level engagement aligns with AEMPIN’s mission to foster international collaboration, build institutional capacity, and promote global empowerment across sectors. The NCA, Ghana’s premier regulatory authority for electronic communications, plays a pivotal role in advancing technological innovation, digital transformation, and inclusive regulation in West Africa.

The visit offers a unique opportunity for dialogue, technical briefings, and peer-to-peer learning between Ghanaian regulators and U.S.-based experts in telecommunications, cybersecurity, and policy innovation.

Background

AEMPIN’s leadership programs and global engagement initiatives—active since 2008—have consistently created platforms for emerging economy leaders to connect with international best practices. The visit by the NCA reflects a shared commitment to strengthening regulatory frameworks and fostering innovation for national development.
