The Americas Empowerment Institute (AEMPIN), in partnership with Texas Southern University, is pleased to announce a special event featuring the staff of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) during an official site visit and capacity-building tour in Austin, Texas, USA.

This engagement forms part of our ongoing initiative to support knowledge transfer, policy innovation, and regulatory excellence among leaders from developing economies. The NCC, Nigeria’s foremost telecommunications regulatory authority, has been instrumental in advancing digital inclusion, consumer protection, and infrastructure development across Nigeria’s telecom landscape.

The visit highlights AEMPIN’s commitment to fostering global partnerships and empowering leaders in the public sector. It will include technical briefings, strategic sessions, and stakeholder interactions aimed at deepening regulatory capacity and strengthening institutional collaboration between the United States and Nigeria.

Background:

Since 2008, AEMPIN has hosted events, awards, and capacity-building engagements that spotlight visionary leadership and institutional growth across developing nations. The NCC’s participation in this event reflects its continued pursuit of excellence and global best practices in telecommunications regulation.
